Terms of Use

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by direct correspondence with the editor will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Where a reader is resident in a country whose consumer-protection rules give them additional rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights continue to apply. The choice of English law does not deprive a consumer of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country in which they are habitually resident.

What this site is not

This website is an independent review of the Otaku Play casino brand. It is not operated by Otaku Play, it does not hold any gambling licence, and it is not a licensed betting intermediary. The site does not take wagers, process deposits or pay out winnings. It does not keep player accounts, hold funds in custody, or settle bets. Any gambling activity happens entirely on the operator's own site under the operator's own terms, which take precedence over anything written here; where our summary of a bonus term and the operator's own text differ, the operator's text is the one that applies to the player's account.

Age limit

You must be eighteen years of age or older to use this site. Online gambling is restricted to adults in the United Kingdom and in most other jurisdictions that regulate it, and the content of this site assumes an adult reader throughout. If you are under eighteen, please leave the site; the responsible-gambling page lists support resources aimed at young people and at families who are worried about a young person's gambling. Operators we review are required by their licence to run age-verification checks at sign-up, and nothing on this site is intended to work around those checks.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to editorial@otaku-play.com with "terms" in the subject line. Please allow up to five working days for a reply. Formal legal notice should be sent to the registered office of Coppermill Publishing Ltd at 56 Bath Street, Glasgow G2 3NX, marked for the attention of the editor. Service by email is accepted for routine correspondence but not for formal notice.

User conduct

When writing to the editorial team you agree not to send material that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or that infringes somebody else's intellectual-property or privacy rights. Spam, bulk promotional messages, automated submissions and attempts to inject malicious code or links are discarded without reply and may be reported to the sender's email provider. We reserve the right to decline correspondence that falls outside the topics listed on the contact page, and to ignore messages that are abusive in tone even where the underlying point is factual.

Acceptance

By using otaku-play.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. The terms apply to every page on the domain, to every outbound link that passes through the site's redirect, and to any correspondence you send to the editorial address. The terms sit alongside the privacy policy, the cookie policy and the affiliate disclosure linked from the footer; where there is any overlap, the most recently updated document takes precedence. These terms replace any earlier version that may have been published on the site.

Limitation of liability

The content of this site is published in good faith and we take reasonable care to keep it accurate, but gambling markets move quickly and the operator can change its offer, lobby or terms without notice. You should always read the operator's own current terms before signing up or depositing, and you should treat any sum of money you choose to gamble as money you are prepared to lose. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on information on this site, whether those losses are direct, indirect, consequential or incidental. The maximum liability for any claim that does succeed is limited to the fees we have been paid by the brand in respect of your referral, which in most cases is zero. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law — in particular, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
